What's your favorite sketchbook link here on conceptart.org?

Wee thought it would be great to showcase your favorite sketchbook threads here on conceptart.org . There are so many deserving threads. What are the links to your favorites?

I will start with the one that inspires me to keep working on conceptart and lit fires under so many young artists all these years. It is also the number one viewed thread in the history of the site.

Mindcandmyman- journey of an absolute rookie. http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...s-and-Sketches

This thread can serve as a best of for the site so others can find those that inspire you...inspire us...and make this forum what it is.

    Best

    JM

@ Jason Manley: Great thread!! I think it's worth mentioning that there's already two existing threads that i know of that has a list of sketchbooks that are awesome http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...d.php?t=190786 & http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...ss-sketchbooks

Can someone please post links to Marko Djurdjevic's & Android Jones's sketchbooks? Or at least a collection to their older works, especially Marko's pencil sketches..I can't seem to find them anywhere. Thank you in advance.

Salaryman has to be up there for me. I love his style, and his knowledge of anatomy and the figure is unreal.

Min's sketchbook (http://www.conceptart.org/forums/sho...0)?highlight=) is probably one of the most influential for me - remember it flooring me back in 2007. Shame so many of the old links are broken.

This is very cool site. I am actually here because we need artist who incorporate photography into their work to send us their project proposals. It seem like most people on this site are either illustrators or painters or both, but that is exactly why I am here, I liked to see a project that meshes photography into a different medium. If you have project in mind, please visit http://fotofund.org/ Thanks!

    Wanimal's

Impressive display of creativity in a variety of media, drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, stage design. There is trash and porn and a feeling of gratuitious provocation, but also a true vision and unique identity. I think I envy his "I don't give a shit" attitude...

Hi Mile, I can see three of the images you’ve posted, all pre-Watts pics. Not sure if it’s a problem with the site here or if you’ve got some bad links. Maybe it’s my own personal settings that are off somewhere because I noticed other people are seeing, or at least have seen your images because they’re commenting on them. Anyway, I really like the art I see here, especially that flying dude with the flaming swords! Really nice anatomy and proportions.

I’ve just finished the Fine Art program at my local community college. I went through a lot of art history and studio classes and the general vibe here is very similar to what you describe. But you know, in my opinion even people doing abstract, modern, and post-modern work are rehashing the same old ideas from the 1940s to the 1980s. It’s ALL passe really, so I feel like if you’re going to do art, at least make it good, right?

Anyway it’s good to meet you, glad to see you here, fighting the good fight. I’ll check back later to see if I can see more of your images then.
